Many of the web pages and forums that I have read over time give great advice to those who have been dumped. If you wish to find it, it's there, including: How to get your Ex back in 100 days, No contact, Low Contact, the Letter, etc. However, what if you are the one who created the break up and want that person back?

Well, I wanted to shed some light for you, it may be harder for you to gain confidence to get your ex back, especially if they have moved on. You have seen them around and they have lost weight, look happy and healthy and most of all, they have done it without you. So what do you do first in order to get their attention back?

First, be honest with yourself... this is the person that you decided was not good enough for you. Perhaps you felt stressed, tired, hurt and wanted to see what was out there. Whatever the reason is, you need to decide why you want them back in your life.

The Second element would be touching base. Some decide to text, others just come out and ask for forgiveness. If you are unsure of your ex-love(s) status then send out a feeler.

Next, follow up. If there was a particular concern that you had with your ex, this would not be the time to address it. This a a new relationship and not the old one, and you want to be your best. If you are unsure about what you want, your ex will notice this. Show your actions will match your words to gain favor with your long lost love.

Getting your ex back is not an easy process, and it takes time, patience, love and understanding. Remember, you are just as human as your ex and there will be times where it seems like the old problems will resurface. However with mutual communication and effort, you will be able to re-create the magic that brought you together in the first place.
